How to Hear Jesus' Voice Clearly

"My Sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow Me." -John 10:27 (NKJV)

There is no greater comfort than knowing that the Lord still speaks. Many people

wonder, "How can I hear Jesus' voice?" - as if His voice were far away or only

reserved for a few. But Jesus promised that His sheep hear Him. That means you

can hear Him to.

1. Be Still to Know Him

"Be still, and know that I am God." -Psalm 46:10

His voice is gentle. It doesn't shout over the noise of the world- it waits for stillness.

Turn off the distractions, even for a few minutes. Sit quietly and breathe in His

presence. When your heart quiets down, His words rise up.

Being still is not about silence on the outside but peace on the inside. The Lord

speaks through peace. If what you hear brings chaos, it's not Him. If it brings

calm and clarity, it's His Spirit leading you.

2. Know His Word to know His Voice

Lord Jesus never speaks in a way that disagrees with His Word. When you know

Scripture, you'll recognize His tone, His truth, and His heart. Sometimes, the

exact verse you need will come alive as if it's highlighted by Heaven - that's His

voice speaking through the Word.

Keep your Bible open; it's not just ink on paper - it's His breath written for you.

3. Listen with a Willing Heart

"Speak, Lord, for Your servant hears," - 1 Samuel 3:10

Samuel didn't hear the Lord until he said those words.

When your heart is willing to obey, not just to hear, His voice becomes

unmistakable. The Lord often speaks to the obedient first-

those who say yes before they even know the assignment.

Ask yourself, "If He speaks, am I ready to respond?"

A willing heart becomes a clear channel for His voice.

4.  Recognize the Ways He Speaks

The Lord Jesus' voice can reach you through many forms:

 *A verse that stirs you.

*A dream that feels heavy with peace.

*A message from someone who didn't even know your situation.

*A thought that aligns with love, wisdom, and truth.

He can whisper through creation, through conviction, through comfort.

He's not limited to one method - He is God

5. Test What You Hear

"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether
they are of God." - 1 John 4:1

Not every voice you hear in your mind or spirit is from the Lord.

When in doubt, ask these questions:

1. Does it match Scripture?

2. Does it draw me closer to Lord Jesus or away from Him?

3. Does it bring peace, not confusion?

If all three are yes, then it's likely His voice is guiding you.

6. Wait for Confirmation

The Lord confirms His words. He will never rush you into fear or pressure.

He may repeat the message through different means until you're sure.|

Patience is part of hearing - because waiting itself builds trust.

While you wait, worship.

He speaks most clearly to those who choose praise over panic.

7. His Voice Leads, It Never Condemns

The Voice of the enemy accuses and tears down.

The Voice of the Lord builds up, corrects gently, and leads you in love.

When you hear something that brings guilt without grace, stop listening.

That's not your Shepherd.

The Lord Jesus speaks like a Father - firm when needed, but full of mercy.

Closing Reflection

You don't have to chase voices.

You only have to stay close to the Voice - the Word Himself, Jesus Christ.

When your life becomes a conversation of prayer and praise, you'll realize

you've been hearing Him all along.

So today, wherever you are, whisper this:

"Lord, I'm listening. I know You speak, and I want to know Your voice more."

Then be still. Let Him speak.

Living Prayer

Father in the Name of Jesus, I thank You for speaking to me.

Thank You that I don't have to beg for Your voice- it's already near.

Teach me to hear through peace, to listen through love, and to

obey with joy.

Let every word from You draw me deeper into Your heart.

Glory.

HOW TO WALK IN SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY AS A CHRISTIAN (BIBLICAL GUIDE)

There is a saying that what wicked people do in the darkness is

none of a man or woman of God's business. People believe that

If someone has chosen the enemy's side, we should leave them

there because they have made their decision. But the truth is far

deeper than that.

As children of God, our position in Christ gives us a clear view of

both darkness and light. While it's true that the choices of others

belong to them, the contamination of the world by evil is

something we are not called to ignore. Evil does not stay

hidden forever; it surfaces. And when it does, it is our business.

When it surfaces, it is no longer "their private matter" -it is a

spiritual assignment.

WHEN DARKNESS SURFACES, IT IS OUR BUSINESS

There are things people do in the dark that may seem hidden

and far from us. At first, it might feel like it's "none of our

business." But the moment the Lord allows something to be

exposed, it becomes our business. Why? Because the Lord Jesus

does not bring anything into Light without purpose.

Ephesians 5:11 (NKJV) says:

"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works

of darkness, but rather expose them."

When evil surfaces, it becomes an assignment for the people

of God - not to gossip about, not to fear, but to confront in

prayer and in truth. The Lord Jesus brings things into the open

so His Light can deal with them, and He calls His children to

partner with Him in prayer to shut down the enemy's influence.

So yes, what remains hidden in the dark may be "their choice."

But once it surfaces, it is no longer private rebellion - it is open

warfare. And we, as those seated with Christ, are called to stand

intercede, and declare His victory.

WE ARE SEATED AND POSITIONED WITH CHRIST

The Bible tells us in Ephesians 2:6 (NKJV):

"And raised us up together, and made us sit together in
the heavenly places in Christ Jesus."

This is not a metaphor. This is a spiritual reality. We are

seated with Christ above all principalities, powers, rulers

of darkness, and spiritual hosts of wickedness. That means

our view of the earth is from His throne room, not from

the battlefield. When you pray from that position, you're

not begging for scraps of victory - you're enforcing a victory

that has already been won at the Cross.   Glory

My Lord Jesus did not come to earth and say, "I threw the enemy

down here and there's nothing you can do about it." No, He came

to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). He came to empower

us with His Spirit, His Word, and His authority.

THE ENEMY HAS A PLATFORM - BUT IT'S TEMPORARY

There's no denying that the enemy seems to have a platform

in this world. He uses people, systems, and voices to spread lies,

division, and destruction. But as believers, we must always

remember: his platform is temporary. It is built on sand.

Psalm 37: 1-2 (NKJV) says:

"Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the
workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like
the grass, and wither as the green herb."

That means our focus is not on fear but on faith. Our prayers

are not weak responses; they are powerful weapons. We pray not

as victims but as victors.

Prayers That Knock the Enemy Out

"My prayers are to knock the enemy out."
These are not just words - they're heaven's language.

The Word of God calls our prayers weapons:

"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty
in God for pulling down strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4, NKJV).

When you pray against the evil of this world, you're not just hoping

for change - you're enforcing Christ's finished work. You're stepping

into the authority He gave you:

"Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing
shall by any means hurt you" (Luke 10:19, NKJV).

That authority is not passive. It's active. It's bold. It's unwavering.

Why Intercession Still Matters

Some people think, "If the world chooses darkness, why pray?

Why care?" Because intercession is not just about people who are

lost- it's about the atmosphere of the world itself. It's about holding

the line so that evil cannot advance unchecked.

We see this clearly in Ezekiel 22:30 (NKJV):

"So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall
and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I
should not destroy it; but I found no one."

The Lord Jesus is looking for people who will stand in the

gap- people who will pray, intercede, and refuse to let evil

write the last word. Even if they choose darkness, our prayers

can still release light, push back oppression, and prepare the

way for Jesus' will to be done on earth as it is in heaven

(Matthew 6:10).

Authority and Humility go Hand in Hand

Walking in  authority doesn't mean walking in arrogance. It

means walking in the humility of Christ- knowing it's His

power, not ours. We're not "bossing demons around" in

our own strength. We're enforcing His victory.

Think of it like a police officer: the badge isn't their own

power; it's the authority of the government they represent. In

the same way, our authority in prayer isn't self- generated. It

flows from the One we represent - the King of kings.

Light always Wins

John 1:5 (NKJV) declares, "And the light shines in the

darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it."

Another translation says, "The darkness has not overcome it."

The Light of Christ always wins. That means our prayers, our

declarations, our worship - they're not empty. They're seeds of

Light being planted into the atmosphere.

Living Prayer of Authority

Here's a prayer you can declare daily:

"Lord Jesus, I stand in Your Light. I take my seat in the

heavenly places with You. I do not fear the darkness because

the darkness cannot comprehend or overcome Your Light. I

lift my prayers not as weak words but as weapons of Light,

mighty through Jesus to pull down every stronghold. Evil

will not rule here, for this territory belongs to You. Thank

You for the authority to trample over all the power of the

enemy. Thank You for making me an intercessor, a watchman,

and a warrior in prayer. Your Kingdom come, Your will be

done, on earth as it is in heaven. Glory."

Practical Ways to Walk This Out

*Stay in the Word: Your authority grows stronger the more
 the

Word lives in you.

*Pray Boldly, Not Fearfully: You're not pleading for victory

you're enforcing it.

*Speak Light into Dark Situations: Declare Jesus' Word over

your home, your city, and your nation.

*Live Holy: Authority is strongest when your life is aligned

with His Light.

Closing Declaration

The enemy may have a platform, but my Lord is the King.

I do His will. I am seated and positioned so the enemy

cannot rule here. I do not back down. I do not grow weary.

I stand in the Light, and the Light will always overcome

the darkness.

WHAT IS THE TRUE GOSPEL? (GALATIANS 1 EXPLAINED)

The Letter to the Galatians is unlike any other letter Paul wrote. Most of His writings

began with a long greeting, thanksgiving, or prayer. But in Galatians, Paul comes in

with urgency and holy fire. His words are sharp, his tone is serious, and his passion is

unmistakable. Why? Because the gospel itself was under attack.

The Galatian believers had received the message of Christ with joy, but false teachers

came soon after, distorting the truth. They were being swayed to accept a "different

gospel" -one that added rules and works to grace. Paul had to act quickly, because

eternity was at stake.

A Gospel Worth Defending

Paul begins with strong words in Galatians 1:6-7 (NKJV)

"I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the
grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some
who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ."

Notice Paul's shock: "I marvel. "It's as if he is saying, "I can't believe you're

doing this." They were abandoning the true message of grace for a counterfeit.

This was not just a small mistake. It was a matter of life and death, of salvation

and condemnation. The gospel of Jesus Christ- salvation by grace through faith -

is not just one option among many. It is the only way. To add anything to it is to

destroy it.

The Danger of Another Gospel

Paul doesn't soften his warning. In verses 8-9, he declares;

"But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you

than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said

before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you

than what you have received, let him be accursed."

Strong words! Twice Paul repeats it: anyone who preaches a false gospel

is cursed. Why? Because a false gospel leads people away from Christ.

It chains them to works, rules, and self-effort, instead of freeing them

in grace.

The enemy has always tried to twist the gospel. Sometimes it comes through

religion, adding works. Sometimes it comes through culture, watering down

truth. But in every generation, Galatians reminds us: there is only one gospel -

and it cannot be changed.

Paul's Authority

Paul knew his critics would try to discredit him. So he defends the source of

his message:

"But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by
me is not according to man. For I neither received it from man, nor was I
taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ."
(Galatians 1:11-12 NKJV)

The gospel Paul preached did not come from human wisdom or religious

tradition. It came by direct revelation from Jesus Himself. That's why Paul

spoke with such boldness - he wasn't defending himself; he was defending

Christ's truth.

Paul's Testimony

In verses 13-24, Paul shares his story. He was once a persecutor of the church,

zealous for the law, trying to destroy Christianity. Yet God, in His grace,

revealed His Son to Paul.

Paul's transformation is proof of the gospel's power. A man who once lived by the

law encountered grace, and everything changed. No longer was he trying to climb

the ladder of self-righteousness; instead, he lived as one rescued by a Lord Jesus.

Paul didn't need human approval or validation. He wasn't seeking to please people.

As he wrote in verse 10:

"For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? or God? Or do
I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of
Christ."

This is a word for us today: you cannot serve Christ and live for people's approval

at the same time. The gospel will always offend human pride because it says we

can do nothing to save ourselves - it is all grace.

Why Galatians 1 Still Matters

You may wonder: why is Galatians 1 so urgent for us now? Because the temptation

to drift into "another gospel" is still very real.

*Legalism says: "Do more, work harder, earn your way."

*Worldliness says: "Live however you want, truth doesn't matter."

*Counterfeit gospels say: "Jesus is good, but not enough - you need more."

But Paul's cry echoes through the centuries: There is no other gospel. Jesus

plus anything is not the gospel. Salvation is not by works, not by religion,

not by performance. It is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

Living in the True Gospel

Galatians 1 invites us to examine ourselves. Are we standing firm in grace,

or are we drifting into bondage? Are we living for Christ's approval or

the world's?

The true gospel produces:

*Freedom - we are no longer slaves to sin or law.

*Peace - we rest in Christ's finished work.

*Identity - we know we are God's children, accepted in Christ.

*Boldness - we live to please Jesus, not man.

The false gospel produces:

*Bondage - striving to earn what Christ has already given.

*Fear - wondering if we've done enough.

*Pride or shame - depending on performance instead of grace.

The difference is everything.

A Call to Stand Firm

Paul's urgent voice still calls out today: Don't turn away.

Don't add to Christ. Don't trade grace for works.

Stand firm in the truth. Hold on to the gospel.

And remember that the life you live is not by

your power but by His grace.

The gospel is not just the starting point of Christianity - it is

the foundation, the anchor, and the life we carry every single day.

Final Reflection

Galatians 1 is a wake - up call to every believer. It tells us that the gospel

is not man's idea, not subject to change, and not to be tampered with.

It reminds us that we are justified by grace, not works, and thar living for

Christ means living for His approval, not the world's applause.

The same Jesus who rescued Paul from religion and rebellion is the

same Jesus who rescues us. And His gospel will always be enough.

So, as you reflect on Galatians 1 today, ask yourself:

*Am I standing firm in grace?

*Am I living to please Christ or people?

*Am I clinging to the only gospel, or have I let something

else creep in?

Let this first chapter remind you: There is no other gospel. And the one true

gospel is more than enough.

WHAT DOES GALATIANS TEACH ABOUT FREEDOM IN CHRIST?

The Book of Galatians is a letter written by the Apostle Paul, and it holds one of the

strongest, clearest defenses of the gospel of grace that we find in all of Scripture.

In just six chapters, Paul communicates the heart of the gospel, rebukes false teachings

that attempted to add works to salvation, and passionately reminds believers of their

identity and freedom in Christ Jesus.

For every generation, Galatians is a wake-up call: Do not trade the freedom of the Spirit

for the bondage of the flesh.

The Urgency of Paul's Message

Paul's letter begins without the usual long greetings or gentle introductions. Instead,

he comes in with urgency and holy frustration. In Galatians 1:6-7 (NKJV), he says:

"I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace
of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble
you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ."

This reveals the problem: believers in Galatia had received the good news of

salvation through Christ alone, yet they were already being swayed by false

teachers who said they needed to add circumcision and other works of the

law to be truly saved.

Paul doesn't hold back. He declares that any gospel other than the one he

preached- salvation through grace by faith in Christ alone - is not the gospel

at all.

Law vs. Grace

At the heart of Galatians is the battle between law and grace. Paul uses the law

to show its purpose - it was a tutor, a temporary guardian to bring us to Christ

(Galatians 3:24). The law was never meant to save; it was meant to expose sin

and point us to the Savior.

The danger in Galatia was the same danger we face today: when we begin to think

that our performance, our works, or our ability to follow rules can secure us a place

with God. Paul calls this a "yoke of bondage" (Galatians 5:1)

But the truth is simple:

*The law condemns, but grace justifies

*The law shows sin, but grace covers sin.

*The law brings death, but grace brings life.

Justified by Faith

One of the most powerful declarations in Galatians is found in 2:16 (NKJV):

"Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by
faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we
might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law;
for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified."

This is the essence of the gospel. No one can ever be made right with

Jesus by keeping rules. Only faith in Christ's finished work brings justification.

Paul even uses his own story as proof. Once a strict Pharisee, zealous for the

law, Paul came face-to-face with Jesus on the road to Damascus. That encounter

changed him forever. He knew firsthand that the law could not save- only

Lord Jesus could.

Crucified with Christ

Perhaps the most well-known verse in Galatians is Galatians 2:20 (NKJV):

"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives

in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God,

who loved me and gave Himself for me."

This verse is not only a declaration of faith; it is the foundation of Christian

identity. To be crucified with Christ means the old self - bound by sin, striving

under the law - is gone. The new life we live is by faith, empowered by His Spirit

resting in His love.

This is the freedom Paul wants believers to walk in: not a freedom to sin, but a

freedom to live in the Spirit without the heavy chains of condemnation.

The Spirit vs. the Flesh

In Galatians 5, Paul contrasts life in the Spirit with life in the flesh. He lists

the works of the flesh - everything from adultery and hatred to jealousy and

outbursts of wrath (Galatians 5:19-21). He then lists the fruit of the Spirit -

love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness,

self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

Notice the difference:

*The flesh works; the Spirit bears fruit.

*Works of the flesh come from striving; fruit
of the Spirit comes from abiding.

The Christian life is not about forcing ourselves to produce good behavior.

It is about walking with the Spirit, allowing His presence within us to

produce His fruit naturally.

Freedom with Responsibility

Paul also makes it clear that freedom in Christ is not a license to live in sin.

Galatians 5:13 (NKJV) says:

"For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an
opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another."

True freedom is not self-serving; it is Christ-serving. It manifests in love, in service,

and in laying down our lives for one another. The Spirit-filled life produces not pride

but humility, not division but unity, not selfishness but sacrificial love.

The Cross as the Only Boast

At the end of his letter, Paul brings everything back to the cross. Galatians 6:14 (NKJV) says:

"But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by
whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world."

This is the ultimate message of Galatians: our only boast in Christ. Not in the law,

not in our works, not in our abilities - but in the cross where Jesus purchased our

freedom once and for all.

The Reverence of Galatians Today

The letter to the Galatians is not just a historical rebuke to a first-century church. It is a

living word for us today.

* Anytime we begin to measure our righteousness by performance,

Galatians calls us back to grace.

*Anytime we slip into judgement or legalism, Galatians reminds us

that we are all one in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:28).

*Anytime we are tempted to return to chains of sin or condemnation,

Galatians tells us to stand firm in our freedom (Galatians 5:1).

This is why the book of Galatians is so vital. It exposes the subtle ways

the enemy tries to drag us back into slavery and anchors us again in the

truth: It is finished. Christ has done it all.

Final Reflection

The book of Galatians is Paul's urgent cry: Don't trade your freedom for

bondage. Don't abandon grace for law. Don't try to finish in the flesh

what began in the Spirit.

The beauty of this letter is thar it reminds us we are fully loved, fully

loved, fully accepted, and fully free in Christ. Our identity is not based

on what we do but on what Jesus has already done.

When we remember this, we can live with peace, joy, and boldness.

We can love others without fear. We can serve without striving.

We can boast only in the cross.

Galatians is not just a letter - it is a declaration of freedom. And that

freedom. And that freedom is yours today in Christ Jesus.

LOVE vs RESPECT IN RELATIONSHIPS (BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE EXPLAINED)

There was a vision, A simple but piercing moment.

Someone was asked, "Do you want love or respect as a person?"

Without hesitation, they answered, "Respect."

But then I spoke in the vision: "Jesus wasn't respected - so how are you

getting respected - so how are you getting respected?"

At that moment, the person had no words. Silence filled the space, and truth

did all the speaking.

The Respect the World Offers

Respect is a word people chase.

Respect in the workplace.

Respect in relationships.

Respect in society.

Yet respect is fragile - it shifts with moods, opinions,

status, and even appearances. The very crowd that praises you today

may mock you tomorrow.

Jesus Himself, who healed the sick, fed the hungry, and raised the dead,

was not respected. The same voices that cried "Hosanna!" soon cried

"Crucify Him! (Mark 11:9; Mark 15:13).

Isaiah spoke of Him long before His birth:

"He is despised and rejected by men,
A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him."
(Isaiah 53:3, NKJV)

If the Son of God - the only One who ever lived without

sin - was disrespected, rejected, and mocked, what does that

tell us about earthly respect?

The Love that Never Fails

While the world offered Jesus no respect, what He gave was

love. Eternal, unfailing love.

" Greater love has no one than this, than to
lay down one's life for his friends." (John 15:13, NKJV)

Respect may open doors in this world, but love opens the door

to eternity. Love is not earned by status or demanded by pride -

it is given by grace.

Lord Jesus didn't come looking for respect. He came to pour out love.

He didn't demand to be esteemed by men, He chose to redeem men.

And it is that same love that still reaches for us today.

Why the Question Matters

When the person in the vision chose "respect," they revealed

something we all must face; are we chasing the approval of

people, or the eternal love of God?

Respect may look appealing, but it can vanish in an instant.

Love, however, anchors us forever.

Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 13:8:

"Love never fails."

Respect fails. Opinions fail. Popularity fails.
But love never fails - because love is Who God is (1 John 4:8).

A Kingdom Perspective

Heaven does not measure success by how respected you are on earth.

Heaven measures by love.

When Lord Jesus stood before Pilate, there was no respect in the courtroom - only

mockery, false accusations, and shouts for His death. Yet even then, His love held firm.

He went to the cross not because men respected Him, but because He loved them, even as

they despised Him.

The Kingdom flips the script;

*The last will be first.

*The servant is the greatest.

*The despised are chosen.

*The weak are made strong.

Respect is a temporary crown. Love is an eternal inheritance.

Silence Before Truth

In the vision, the person had no words when confronted with the reality

that Lord Jesus was not respected. And that's the power of truth - it silences

human reasoning.

Sometimes silence is the sound of pride collapsing. Sometimes, silence

is the moment when a heart realizes what it's been chasing is not eternal.

When faced with Lord Jesus, no argument stands. Every tongue will confess

and every knee will bow. (Philippians 2:10-11).

Living Beyond Respect

The vision challenges us: Are we satisfied with respect, or are we anchored in love?

To live beyond respect means:

* You don't live for applause, but for obedience.

* You don't measure your worth by titles, but by His truth.

* You don't crumble when dishonored, because His love holds you.

Jesus said in John 15:18:

"If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you."

If they disrespected Him, we should not be surprised when they do the same to us.

But just as He overcame, we overcome - because His love abides in us.

A Living Prayer

"Lord, thank You for showing me that Your love is far greater than the

fleeting respect of man. Let me not chase approval that fades, but remain

in the love that never fails. Remind me that if You were not respected, I cannot

expect to be either. Anchor me in Your love that cannot be moved. Glory."

Conclusion: The Greater Choice

So which will it be - love or respect?

The world may tempt us to choose respect, but Jesus has already

shown us the greater way. He was disrespected, despised, and

mocked - yet He loved without end.

And because He loved, we live.

That is the eternal difference.

HOW TO HAVE A GOD CENTERED MARRIAGE (SPIRITUAL PERSPECTIVE EXPLAINED)

Being married to someone I can get upset at so easily has taught me something

priceless -things aren't happening in the natural realm alone. It's all spirit.

When my husband curses, calls names, raises his voice, or slams doors

and cabinets, I've learned that these things are not the real war.

They are symptoms of something deeper, something unseen.

The Bible tells us clearly in Ephesians 6:12 (NKJV):

"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but
against principalities, against powers, against the
rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual
hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."

When I first got married, it was easy to believe that every problem

was "him" and every hurt came from his words or actions. But as I've

grown in the Lord, I've learned to step back and see what's really happening.

My husband is just a man. He is not my enemy.

The enemy would love for me to get in the trap of reacting in the flesh - arguing

back, keeping score, or letting bitterness grow. But when I remember that the

true battle is spiritual, everything changes.

Choosing Patience Over Reaction

It's not that I've mastered patience overnight -it's that I've come to know

the Truth. And the Truth changes everything.

I have learned to breathe before I speak. To pause before I respond.  To ask

the Holy Spirit for wisdom instead of letting my emotions take control.

Proverbs 15:1 (NKJV) reminds us:

"A soft answer turns away wrath, but a
harsh word stirs up anger."

When voices get loud and tempers rise, my flesh wants to match that

energy with my own volume. But the spirit in me calls me to answer

differently. Sometimes that means speaking gently; other times it means

saying nothing at all and taking the matter to God in prayer.

This isn't weakness - it's warfare. My silence in the right moment is not

ignoring the problem; it's choosing to fight in the Spirit instead of the flesh.

Seeing My Husband the Way God Sees Him

One of the greatest shifts in my heart came when I asked the Lord,

"How do you see my husband?"

Because in the heat of the moment, all I could see was his faults. But God

reminded me - my husband is His creation. He is loved by God. And when

I choose to look at him through the eyes of Christ, it softens my heart and

strengthens my prayers.

This doesn't mean I excuse wrong behavior or pretend it doesn't hurt. It

means I understand there's a root cause beyond what I can see. If the

root is spiritual, only God can change it.

So instead of just asking God to change my husband's action's, I pray

for his heart, his mind, and his spirit.

Refusing to Let the Enemy Win in My Home

The enemy knows that marriage is powerful.

Two becoming one is a threat to the kingdom of darkness.

That's why he works so hard to sow discord, misunderstandings

and resentment.

But I have decided: Not in my home.

James 4:7 (NKJV) says:

"Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you."

Every time I resist the urge to fight in the flesh, I am resisting the devil.

Every time I pray instead of react, I am shutting the door to the enemy's

schemes.

Sometimes my victory is quiet. It's me whispering a prayer under my breath

while walking away from an argument. It's me choosing to keep my peace because

the peace of Christ is more important than winning the debate.

Letting My Response Come From the Spirit

The truth is, the real test of spiritual maturity isn't how well I worship when everything

is going right - it's how I respond when I'm provoked.

Will I let my flesh rise up, or will I let the Spirit lead me?

Galatians 5:22-23 (NKJV) says:

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, against such there
is no law."

In marriage, all of these fruits get tested. Love gets tested when my

husband says something harsh. Joy gets tested when the atmosphere

in the house gets tense. Peace gets tested when there's shouting in

the next room.

But here's the thing: fruit grows under pressure. Every time I choose

the Spirit's way instead of my flesh's way. I'm letting those fruits ripen.

The Truth That Keeps Me Grounded

Here's the truth I hold onto: my husband is not my opponent;

the enemy is. My husband's flaws are not a reflection of my worth

or my Father's goodness - they're a reminder that every human being

needs grace.

This doesn't mean I never address problems. It doesn't mean I let things

slide forever. But it does mean that before I deal with the situation in the

natural. I deal with the situation in the Spirit.

I pray over my husband.

I pray over our marriage.

I pray over our home.

And I stand on the promises of Isaiah 54:17 (NKJV)

"No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every
tongue which rises against you in judgement you shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness
is from Me," says the Lord.

Practical Ways I Fight Spiritually in Marriage

If you're in a similar situation, here are some practical ways to keep

your heart anchored in the Spirit:

1. Pause Before Responding - Even a few seconds of prayer

before you speak can change the entire tone of the conversation.

2. Pray Over Your Spouse Daily - Call their name before the Lord,

even when you're upset with them.

3. Keep Worship in Your Home - Play worship music or read scripture aloud; it

   shifts the atmosphere.

4. Speak Life - Don't let curses or harsh words be the only thing spoken. Speak

blessings over your marriage and your spouse.

5. Fast for Breakthrough - Sometimes the battle is deeper than what daily prayer

can touch; fasting invites God's power into the fight.

Closing Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You for opening my eyes to the truth that my battles are not

with flesh and blood. Thank You for giving me patience, wisdom, and the fruits

of the Spirit to walk in love even when it's not easy. Teach me to see my husband

through Your eyes. Strengthen our marriage so that it glorifies You Lord. And

let no weapon formed against our home prosper.

HOW GOD PROVIDES FOR YOU (2 CORINTHIANS 9:10 EXPLAINED)

"Now He Who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have

sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness." -2 Corinthians 9:10 (NKJV)

There is something so holy - so incredibly personal - about watching the Lord show up in

ways you didn't expect, but always perfectly timed. Today, I am overflowing with gratitude

because I have witnessed, once again, how my Lord Jesus is the Supplier of Seed.

It happened so simply and so beautifully. Someone called my son out of the blue to let him

know they owed him money. Not only did they confess the debt, but they also said a

portion of the money would be arriving today. Just like that no manipulation, no chase,

no reminders. Just God. Only God.

When something like this happens, I don't chalk it up to coincidence. I know better. I know

my Jesus. This was a divine appointment, a setup from heaven. This was 2 Corinthians 9:10

made real in my life - He's not just supplying seed for me, He's extending His supply

to my household. That's how faithful He is. That's how deeply involved He is in the lives

of those who walk with Him.

He Supplies Seed to the Sower

This verse doesn't say He gives seed to anyone - it says He supplies seed to the sower.

That matters. God gives seed to those who have made it a part of their life's rhythm to sow.

To those who aren't clutching their hand closed but keeping it open. To those who aren't

hoarding what they've received, but are willing to pour it out in obedience. The seed

was never meant to stay in your hand- it's meant to go into His soil.

I'm a sower. And I say that with confidence, not pride. I sow my time, my words, my

writing, my prayers, and my faith into the hands of my Lord. Not one thing I have belongs

to me - it's all His. And so when He sees a sower, He supplies.

If you want to live a life where provision flows freely, live a life where seed is always

being sown. Don't worry about the size of the seed. Sow what you have. He is the One

who gives the increase.

Bread for Food

It's not just seed He gives. The verse says He gives bread for food too. That means He

doesn't just give you what you can plant for later - He gives you what you need right

now. You don't have to wonder if you'll eat it. You don't have to beg for your next meal.

You don't have to worry about tomorrow's bills. If you are a sower, you're in covenant

with the Supplier.

Some people think sowing means losing, but it actually means gaining. Every seed that

leaves your hand enters the atmosphere of eternity, where time bends and miracles

begin. Every seed sown in faith becomes a divine conversation between heaven

and earth - one that your Father will never forget.

He Multiplies the Seed You Have Sown

This part of the verse grips my soul. It says He multiplies the seed you have already

sown. He doesn't just give you new seed; He remembers the seed you already gave.

He honors it. He waters it. He watches over it.

Sometimes we think something is over and forgotten. That person you blessed. That

tithe you gave. That act of obedience. That seed you sowed in secret. Let me tell

you - it's not forgotten. Jesus never forgets. He is the Lord of the Harvest, and He

knows where every seed was buried. Even if the soil seemed dry or the environment

wasn't ideal - He remembers.

And when the time is right - He multiplies it.

He doesn't just add to your seed. He multiplies it. That's a Kingdom principle.

That's how my Savior works. That's what makes this different from the world's

system. The world repays based on effort. But Jesus? He repays based on faith

and obedience.

Today, when my son received that phone call, I didn't just see money coming.

I saw the memory of a seed. I saw Jesus saying, "I haven't forgotten your

faithfulness. I haven't overlooked your giving. Now watch what I do for your

children."

Increase the Fruits of Your Righteousness

There's something bigger than provision happening when we live this way. The Lord

is increasing the fruits of our righteousness. This means that every time we sow, every

time we trust, every time we walk in His Spirit - we're producing fruit that will

remain.

You may not always see your fruit right away, but it's growing. Every day you choose

to obey instead of compromise, every day you write for His glory, every day you walk

in love instead of offense - that's fruit. And He is the God who increases it.

He increases what you can't increase on your own.

He breathes on what you sow and makes it grow.

He strengthens your character through every test.

He matures your spirit in every season.

He causes your faith to deepen as your roots go down.

This is the increase of righteousness. That is the blessing of walking with the Lord.

Testimonies That Glorify

I'm not sharing this moment about my son for the applause of people.

I'm sharing it because it glorifies my Jesus. It tells the world that He sees.

He cares. He responds. And He is not a man that He should lie.

You may be sowing right now and seeing no harvest yet. You may be

pouring out and wondering when the supply is coming back to

you. Let me encourage you - keep sowing.

Your seed has not gone unnoticed.

Your faith has not been ignored.

Your obedience is bringing multiplication.

And your righteousness is bearing fruit -

eternal, undeniable, supernatural fruit.

Final Thoughts

2 Corinthians 9:10 is more than a verse. It's a

living word. It is a promise in motion for every believer

who chooses to live with open hands and a surrendered

heart. I don't live for seed - I live for the One Who

supplies it. I don't chase bread - I follow the Bread

of Life.

But in following Him, in loving Him, in sowing

for Him - I've learned that I never run out. He

multiplies what I give. He blesses what I surrender.

And He takes care of my house.

Let this be your reminder today: You are in covenant

with the Supplier. You don't serve a limited God. You

serve the God Who owns the cattle on a thousand hills.

You serve the God Who told the waves where to stop

and the sun when to rise. You serve the God Who

multiplies.

And He's supplying more seed - just for you.
